The hydraulic props with manual pump are used in the underground mining, where, together with different kind of link bars, they assure the supporting of the roof in accordance with the armature monograph.
As the open circuit hydraulic props, there are assured the main functions: setting, safety and discharge kidnap.
The main advantages of the hydraulic props with manual pumps besides the open circulation ones (with central pump) are: the working fluid (hydraulic oil) works in close circuit without any loss and the components which are in contact with the oil don't require any anticorrosive protection.
